The Vietnam-PolyEd-REU has the overarching goal of furnishing Vietnamese undergraduate students with the essential training, competencies, and insights necessary for advancing in their professional trajectories within the domain of Educational Sciences.
Comprising three key components, namely Mini-courses, Research, and Mentoring, the program begins with a series of mini-courses designed to enhance students' understanding of various research and educational sciences topics. Subsequently, students will engage in the research phase, tackling accessible research problems under the guidance of experienced mentors, either local or international. These mentors will provide continuous support and direction throughout the project duration. Furthermore, participants will receive insights into graduate schools, academic life, and valuable advice on navigating the Ph.D./Master application process. Additionally, monthly meetings will be held to allow students to showcase their progress to the entire team. The mentorship aspect is intended to be enduring, with students encouraged to seek recommendation letters from their mentors as needed.
